Another decisive step in favor of biodiversity: the Saola brand is a member of the 1% FOR THE PLANET international business collective, launched in 2002 by Yvon Chouinard, founder of Patagonia and Black Diamond.
In concrete terms, our membership means that we donate 1% of our sales to associations approved by the collective, among which Saola has chosen to actively support WORLD LAND TRUST.
Committed to the protection of ecosystems, this association deploys the WLT's "Buy An Acre" program throughout the world, and has already protected over 56,000 hectares of forests, wetlands, springs and rivers.
By avoiding deforestation, combating desertification and encouraging the restoration of degraded habitats, these projects benefit the global climate, increase resilience to climate-related risks and act against biodiversity loss.Saola is involved in this program in Patagonia, Brazil and Kenya.

WORLD LAND TRUST
SAOLA and the WORLD LAND TRUST (WLT) work together to protect ecosystems.

As a member, we donate 1% of our turnover to associations approved by 1% FOR THE PLANET.
